Ruben Amorim's move to Manchester United from Sporting has led to speculation the Portuguese boss could raid his former club in a bid to strengthen his Red Devils team. United have reportedly already enquired about Quenda, but it has now emerged that the club have been interested in the wonderkid for some time.

The Red Devils first sent scouts to watch Quenda last season as he fits into the current profile of targeting youngsters with the potential to grow, according to .
