Morris gave an emotional interview after the game, saying: "I’m just so blessed. The game just encapsulated everything in my last seven years here. The identity of us and the team we like to be, and how we like to approach games, it’s my identity. My heart is black and gold."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Morris makes the move having featured in 16 of Columbus Crew's 17 MLS matches this season. He was an integral part of the midfield, scoring twice and assisting two. Boro will be hoping they are signing a young gem who can help them push towards the play-offs and an eventual return to the Premier League.
