Barcelona boss Xavi has given short shrift to rumours that Ilkay Gundogan could move to Saudi Arabia in January.

Reports in Saudi Arabia claimed that the Germany international could potentially make the move to the country in January. Indeed, the report even claimed that Gundogan had made the request to move himself.

Asked about the rumours, the Barcelona boss replied: "Really, they said that? Wow. Gundogan is looking for a house here in Barcelona… Shukran."
Shukran means thank you in Arabic.
