The Bayern Munich star scored twice and got an assist at the TQL Stadium in Cincinnati as the German giants demolished Auckland City 10-0 in their first game of the Club World Cup. The MLS Eastern Conference side has emerged as potential suitors for the 35-year-old, who bids farewell to Bayern after the tournament.

Muller has talked up the prospect of moving to MLS for some time and has reportedly been in talks with LAFC, though negotiations have reportedly stalled. Cincinnati, having also been linked with him, could begin talks with him if he decides against moving to Los Angeles and it sounds like the club made a good first impression on the veteran forward.
