Leeds United’s latest team news has been revealed ahead of this weekend’s west Yorkshire derby and it has left plenty of fans talking at Elland Road.
Speaking in his pre-game press conference, Marcelo Bielsa revealed that the squad will be the same to the one involved in the 4-0 thrashing of local rivals Hull City.
The update was relayed by The Athletic’s Phil Hay on Twitter where he claimed there were no new injuries.
It means Jean-Kevin Augustin will once again be absent through injury while it is unlikely that there is a place for fellow January addition Ian Poveda – who doesn’t actually appear to be nursing any niggles.
Here’s how fans have been taking in the news…
Some were quick to slam the RB Leipzig loanee, labelling him as a “big flop” and a “waste of space” while one supporter blamed the manager for his “spartan fitness regime”.
A further member of the Leeds faithful thought there was more at play, saying there wasn’t something right about the situation.

Augustin has only featured for a total of 48 minutes since joining the club in January and hasn’t been in the matchday squad for back-to-back matches, per Transfermarkt.
Others commented on Poveda’s involvement – or lack of – which was equally baffling.
There was also fans gunning for the club’s recruitment during the winter transfer window with many either sarcastically taking a jab at it or slamming it for being so poor.
“Mind-boggling” was the choice of word for many while “pointless” and “wasteful” were mentioned too.
Who is that?! Nobody has been able to name the teams all of these obscure managers were once in charge of…
