Sargent is one of a few fit strikers remaining in the USMNT pool at the moment, with both Folarin Balogun and Ricardo Pepi currently sidelined with respective injuries. Ahead of the CONCACAF Nations League semifinals in March, it's heavily expected that the 24-year-old – if he remains fit – will be in contention for the starting role under Mauricio Pochettino in the competition.
Norwich, meanwhile, are racing alongside a handful of other teams to secure a promotion playoff spot in the Championship as they aim to secure Premier League soccer come the 2025-26 season. With their draw on Saturday, they now sit 12th in the table, but they're just four points out of sixth place in the standings — the final playoff spot.
With Sargent up front, though, it's proving to be a potentially feasible task. The American just cannot stop scoring.
